Finding Balance - For the ADHD Photographer with Laura Froese

$49.00

Where are all my working creative moms? You know who you are. Bonus points if you’re of the neurospicy variety (or suspect you are), though this course isn’t just for us wild ones. Working moms live a life that few others understand unless they have walked a mile in our shoes - the mental load we carry is immense! Clients, emails, editing, blogging, social media, diapers, doctor appointments, meal planning, errands, friends, community, volunteering, school meetings, homework, laundry, etc.... On top of that, be a good wife, remember self care, nap when the baby is napping (hahahaha). You never get to turn it off. It’s like a slow IV drip of adrenaline running constantly through you. And if you have ADHD on top of that? Welcome to mental acrobatic ride that never, ever turns off. How do you juggle all of this, and do it remotely WELL? How do you leave room for relationships, goals, vision, or creativity when you’re just trying to survive?

This course does NOT have all the answers! (Bet you weren’t expecting that in the description). This course does, however, have survival tactics and what I have found works for me, but it comes with a twist. When I first wrote this course, I was a busy mom of a 1.5, 3, and 4-year old (all boys) who worked from home with almost no child care. Through many years of trial and error, I developed some systems to navigate this season while still maintaining healthy relationships with my husband and friends. Here’s the twist! I just re-wrote it 4 years later. Now we are in a totally new season of life, and I share my updated tactics and observations right alongside my “early-days” perspectives for a much more comprehensive course.

This course covers a myriad of topics, including the following:

  • Communication: with family, friends, and clients;

  • Boundaries: yes, we went there;

  • Time blocking: with day-in-the-life examples from two very different seasons of life;

  • Housekeeping: tips, tricks, and some chore chart examples;

  • The Mental Load: and how to alleviate this while not letting balls drop;

  • Client Scheduling: how do I keep up with all the editing in a timely fashion?

  • Social Media Management: IG, FB, Emails, oh my! And yes, even finding time for the elusive blogging;

  • Personal Work: how to organize it, schedule time for it, and even get it into annual albums;

  • External Storage: including a detailed walkthrough of my backing-up and archival processes to keep all my files in order and secure; and

  • Goal Setting: not only creating, but modifying and achieving them.

In this course, you will receive the following:

  • 65-page e-book filled with beautiful images, realistic expectations, memorable quotes, and simplistic plans of action to make it happen!

  • 6 videos covering Laura’s photo organization, culling, 2 different workflows for creating family albums, archiving and cleaning up old files, and backing up current work AS WELL AS catalogues (which just might not be as secure as you think they are).

  • BONUS: a copy of her Client Session Guide she sends out to streamline her communication process.
